Cherry Hill Food Hall Restaurante en Pereira

Over the past several months I have really tried to like Cherry Hill Food Hall. They did an extensive remodel of the former Patrono Food Hall and it looks really nice. I've taken my lunch group there one time, my dinner group one time, my Sunday brunch group once, and attended the Language Exchange once. So far I have not been happy with the meals and several of my guests have complained as well. The first dinner was an oriental dish that was just ordinary. The second time at lunch was a quesadilla which I only ate half. At that meal there were 10 of us and it took longer to sort the bill out than it did for us to eat. When we got up to leave one of my guests fell on the step down from the raised platform in the back right corner of the dining hall. That is a dangerous step down that is not visible in the dim light and the dark floor. There is another step down about half way back in the dining hall and if you are not VERY careful you will trip and fall. The brunch group that I hosted was given a very weak brunch menu with nothing very appealing so I ordered off the main menu Fettuccine Alfredo which was cold, unappetizing, off flavor and maybe left over from the previous night. The language exchange was advertised to start at 6 but they said it starts at 7:30. They didn´t introduce my group to any other language exchange participants in the restaurant, so we three may have been the only ones there. For the language exchange they had a "menu" that had 4 choices of small meals that were not very appealing but I chose nachos. They were not very good. The meal was cold. The meat was unrecognizable, it might have been ground beef, or chicken left over from the previous night. The chips were the only Mexican part of the small nacho plate. They were decorated with a line of mayonnaise and a line of cheese whiz and a few onions bits. I was hungry so I ate it and felt ill afterwards. My guest ordered off the main menu Langostina Scampi (lobster scampi) and the dish that arrived at our table was neither lobster nor scampi. Instead it was some small shrimp in a light cheese sauce layered over two pieces of stale bread. It did not look very appetizing and it was not very flavorful. When we complained to the waitress and the manager they said they couldn't afford to serve real lobster so they substituted shrimp. After four disappointing meals and after one of my friends getting injured when he fell on the invisible step I doubt seriously if I will ever take my group to this place again. I recognize the owners spent a lot of money and time remodeling, and the concept is promising. But I'm sorry, the food is not very good.

I love coming here. a bit pricey, yes, but totally worth it. I highly recommend the ribeye steak, king or queen. super flavorful. Flip (the owner) always works hard to ensure you’re happy, and his staff is extremely friendly. best food and options

Excellent place for a variety of foods. You can order from any of the establishments on site and enjoy at your table. Many different options and tons of beverages as well.
