Description

Day 1: Bogotá - Ráquira - Villa de Leyva - Topaga-Monguí Depart Bogotá early in the morning and make your first stop in Ráquira, home of the iconic giant earthen pot. Walk through colonial streets and meet local artisans. Continue to Villa de Leyva, a frozen-in-time colonial town. Enjoy a guided walk through the main plaza, historic churches, and charming streets. Enter the Chocolate Museum (entry included) and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, arrive at your mountain boutique hotel in Topaga-Monguí and enjoy a delicious dinner with a view. Day 2: Monguí - Lake Tota - Paipa - Bogotá After breakfast, head to Monguí, known as Colombia's volleyball capital. Enter a real balloon factory and make your own balloon. Watch artisans, participate, and take home your creation. Next, visit Lake Tota, the third largest lake in South America. Admire the crystal turquoise water and mountains on all sides. Finally, stop at Paipa Natural Hot Springs and soak in thermal waters before the drive back to Bogotá.
