Our photographic adventure will start at the informed meeting point in the afternoon, at 4:30 p.m. We recommend you arrive 10 minutes early to meet the group, receive the selfie stick and configure it with your cell phone. From the historic heart of Cartagena, we will depart for the Barrio de Getsemaní. Our art and selfie expert guide will give you an introduction to the history and artistic context of Gethsemane. As you move through the interior of the neighborhood, you will discover the most significant murals and graffiti that adorn the streets. You will notice how each work of art is a unique expression that enriches the urban landscape and highlights the importance of art as a tool for reflection. You will be able to come up close with representations of historical figures, symbols of Afro-Caribbean culture, as well as artistic expressions that address issues of gender equality, social justice and environmental protection.
