Description
This is a tour designed for those explorers who want to know several destinations of public beaches in one day: Islas del Rosario+Cholón+Barú+Plancton (optional) - Time: 8 to 12h. Depending on your location, we can pick you up at the hotel. After the group is completed, we will go to Barú where we will take a local boat to go to the islands: we will give you a mask to explore in the coral reef, then we go to Cholon where you will enjoy a seafood cocktail and we will go to Playazul where you can take a beach swim or sit and watch the sea. They are short visits to meet, take nice photos and swim for a while. Be aware that there may be strong winds so get your life vest because our captain will sail like a seawolf, he has a lot of experience! At approx. 1pm We will be back in Barú for lunch (fried fish, chicken or vegetarian option) and you will have access to the beach beds, sunbeds, lockers and local bathrooms. Here you can decide if you return to Cartagena by bus, approx. 3pm... or you can stay to see the magical sunset of Barú and continue with the plan to swim in the bright plankton, then, we will take the boat again to the enchanted lagoon to appreciate the plancton, a very nice natural phenomenon! For 20 or 30min depending on the weather. Time back to Cartagena by bus: 8 pm, we will give you a snack while we go back.Includes
Pick up at accommodation or at a meeting point (depend of your location). Bilingual assistant. Transportation in air-conditioned vans to Barú Sector Playa Blanca. Local boat transfer to the hostel. Panoramic tour of the Rosario Islands with a cultural review. In one of the Rosario Islands, snorkeling activity for 30 min approx. (included only the mask). Visit to Cholón Island: with seafood tasting and sea bath (approx 40min). Visit to Aguazul island: for sea bathing and use of chairs (approx 40min). Lunch to choose between seafood rice or typical tray (fried fish, chicken breast or sautéed vegetables). Beach time in Barú, Playa Blanca Tranquila. Return in buses to Cartagena (end point, Torre del Reloj and main Avenue). If you stay for plankton includes: Snack in the afternoon. Talk about luminous plankton. Transfer by local boat to Portonaito to swim in the luminous plankton (approx 20min). Return in collective buses to Cartagena.Important Information
