Your experience will begin as you are picked up from your hotel and taken to the neighborhood of Laureles. If a frappuccino isn't your thing, Turkish coffee is recommended. You will continue walking through the neighborhood and make a stop at a coffee shop recognized for both its Aeropress coffee method and for working together with coffee farmers from La Sierra (a peripheral area of Medellin's Comuna 8). At this place, you will learn about the roasting process and the importance of the social project they are leading. Your next stop will be at a place specialized in making espresso, as according to them, the best way to taste a coffee's quality is in a freshly-made espresso. Finally, you will stop at a coffee shop-independent designer store to enjoy a delicious cold brew (a 12-hour brewing process that highlights coffee's flavor while producing a cold refreshing beverage).
