DescriptionRide a horse along one of 3 scenic routes in San Andres and find out about the island, its history, flora and fauna, as well as the local culture. Enjoy riding in a small group, away from the crowds of tourists. Enjoy hotel pickup or make your own way to the ranch, depending on the option chosen. Here you will meet your guide and instructor who will give you initial instructions depending on your level of experience. You will be matched with the perfect horse for you, according to your limitations and the route you choose. Beach Route You will start by riding through a rural zone where you will be able to see many of the local flora as your guide explains to you about the local culture. You will hear stories and some interesting facts until you reach the beautiful beaches of San Luis. Set off on your ride along the beach, and feel the smoothness of your horse walking, as you disconnect from everything and tune in to the sound of the waves. Mountain Route This is the most famous route. Start by riding through a rural zone where you will be able to see many of the local flora as your guide explains to you about the local culture. You will hear stories and some interesting facts about local ancestors until you reach the top of a mountain called Hill Tap. When arriving at the summit, you will jump off your horse and look for seasonal fruit that you will be able to taste and also feed to your horse. Enjoy some free time to take some beautiful pictures with the Caribbean Sea in the background. Lagoon Route Also known as the extreme route, you will ride through the interior of the island towards a lagoon located in the La Loma neighborhood. During the course of the ride, you will get to know some medicinal plants and fruit trees, as well as pass by the largest and oldest tree on the island. When arriving at the lagoon, you will jump off your horse and look for seasonal fruit that you will be able to taste and also feed to your horse. Enjoy some free time to take some nice pictures and look for the local alligator residents.
