Great experience! The staff was warm and very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The beach was private and peaceful. The boat shuttle was punctual and easy to find. 10/10!
The beach club is great, l've been here 3 times in the past 6 months but not at the hotel. Great view, clean beaches, nice water, and good food + drinks. I don’t like hamburgers from Colombia but theres was fire🔥 Only 1 person selling stuff that doesnt bother you and the staff is great as well. No bugs or anything like that, included beach cabanas, and towels. I highly recommend. We discovered Fénix Beach Club completely by chance on a last-minute day trip, and what a fantastic decision it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, Valentina, the Guest Experience Hostess, made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism set the tone for what became one of the most memorable days of our visit to Cartagena. The beach is nice, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the entire team provided excellent service throughout the day. The food was delicious, the music created the perfect beach vibe, and enjoying a massage right on the beach was the icing on the cake. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches included with the day pass, such as fresh towels and a welcome drink. One of the things we loved most was the mix of guests from all walks of life, creating a friendly, laid-back atmosphere with great energy. Fénix isn’t about luxury or excess, it’s a no-frills beach escape that feels wonderfully authentic. It gives you the sensation of being far off the beaten path, yet it’s only about a 20-minute boat ride from the port of Cartagena. We enjoyed ourselves so much that next time we plan to stay for a couple of nights to experience everything the property has to offer. We did not stay the night so I cannot genuinely review them, except by what another guest told me. A special thank you to Valentina. Your genuine hospitality made all the difference, and you are a tremendous asset to Fénix Beach Club. We sincerely hope you’ll be there when we return because you made this experience one we’ll always remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, authentic beach club experience just minutes from Cartagena.
Such a beautiful Place! Even tho there was no food after some time in the hotel, no room service, considering we are in an Island, having no options to eat was unacceptable, specially after a big party that ended in the morning. The staff was not helping much. So I think this island system could work way better, specially because of the amount of money you spend staying there.
It's definitely NOT a kid friendly hotel. Specially not for small babies... The personnel is in its majority kind but they are overwhelmed and take long for orders. Once we waited more than an hour for a kids menu (chicken) and it even came wrong. Our main problem was the loud music in the night. This should be clearly stated in the reservation. It shouldn't be a must for all guests. At dinner we could not even talk. Regarding the "kid friendly" part... well there is absolutely nothing to make your stay more comfortable with small kids: full dark rooms (given that sunrise is 5am), mosquito nets for baby beds, hot water to bath babies, an area for babies to play... It's great for groups of friends, bachelor parties, couples.... perhaps older kids bit if you have kids under 5, I wouldn't advise you to go.
