Mirador Gastro Bar

Great cocktails and ambiance but I was not impressed with the steak. The live music and ambiance is a vibe but I recommend a reservation. They also seem a bit disorganized.
Mirador hit exactly the right note for a sunset ritual in Cartagena—two (okay, maybe three) perfectly timed cocktails before dinner, high above the fray. This rooftop bar feels genuinely elevated—no pun intended—with killer 360° views straight over the iconic Clock Tower entrance to the walled city. You watch the golden light fade, the streets below buzzing with life, vendors, classic cars, and that unmistakable Cartagena energy. It’s the kind of scene that makes you feel alive in the moment. The DJ nailed it: great mix of hits at just the right volume—energetic enough to keep the blood moving, but never drowning out conversation. The drinks? Spot-on, creative without being fussy, strong where they should be, and served with real care. As Anthony Bourdain might’ve put it, this is one of those spots where you sit with a cold one (or something stronger), half-drunk on the view and the vibe, and realize how damn lucky you are to be right here, right now. No itinerary, no rush—just the city doing its thing below you while the sun slips away. Cartagena at its most intoxicating. If you’re in town, make the climb. It’s not just drinks; it’s a little slice of why travel still matters. Highly recommend—5 stars, no question.
I had an amazing experience at Mirador celebrating my birthday!! The staff was so welcoming, particularly the host Stephanie and my waiter Jean Aleman! They made sure I enjoyed my food, my drinks, and most of all, my birthday! I ordered the empanadas and the lobster and rice dish and both had great flavor and were a great portion for the price. The rooftop views are a fantastic addition to the experience as well! I would definitely recommend!
Yes, this rooftop bar is excellent. Had a mocktail and listened to DJ. Greerat dance beats. Friendly, attentive service. Warm atmosphere. People of all ages and backgrounds. Can’t beat the views - right in front of the clock tower!
