Can absolutely recommend the arroz marisco, the cazuela de camarones and the yucas. Everything was excellent - fantastic flavours and fresh. Took about 45mins for the food to come out but worth the wait. Lulo juice was also fresh and tasty. Will absolutely be back. Though i thought the drinks were a bit overpriced drinks though. 10k for a sprite.. 16k for lemonade coco and 13.5k for lulo juice - with all small servings. Would not order the drinks again.

I had the pleasure of stopping by El Barco de Buenamar in Itagüí, and it really feels like a hidden gem. The food was really good. The empanadas de atún stood out right away, and the tuna on the Filete Mixto was easily the highlight of the plate. The ceviche was fresh and clean, and even the arroz de coco hit. Everything felt well prepared and thoughtfully done. What really made the experience though was the hospitality. Osiris took great care of me. Attentive, welcoming, and just solid service from start to finish. You can feel when a place genuinely values the customer. The bill came out to around 186,000 COP before I added extra tip, and it felt worth it. Great food, exceptional service, and an experience I’d gladly repeat.
