The taste of the food was great however the portion was not accurate at all. We ordered a paella mulatto 6 personas that claims to be for 6 people. When that dish came out, it barely feeds 2 people. It cost 290,000 COP which is about $95 USD and the portion was not worth it. However the flavor was great so I give a 4 stars for taste vs portion. Hope they can make it clear that it's not for 6 people. It's very deceiving. Also, only the crab was not good. All the other seafood was good.
This place had great food and a variety of selections ranging from tapas, seafood, meat to salads. The service is a bit slow. We were served out of order where others who came after us received their drinks first. We ended up having to ask another server if they could bring our drinks out. Otherwise it was great tasting food at an affordable price compared to other similar restaurants in the area.
Nice little restaurant. My ceviche was really tasty. My husband had a nice fish dish. The portions were on a smaller side.
Very authentic cartagenean cuisine (run by locals). The food is outstanding and the best you get for this price by far!! If you are vegetarian: go there! I can recommend the brie y vegetalitos al forno. If you like fish: go there! I loved the sancocho de pescado rocky. If you're vegan: the humus and falafel are veery good and they can prepare you something nice as a main for sure! On top, the ambiente is super charming and you can sit in the garden. It's a bit (2min) off the main streets, which makes it even more authentic and you hear the vibrant city center from a little distance. I can really recommend!
My second visit to Cartagena and this was one of the places that I had to visit again. So glad to say it stood the test of time with a great atmosphere (seating inside with air conditioning or outside for people watching), strong drinks, great portions, and reasonable prices. If I came back again, I would definitely visit.
