Words don’t do my experience justice with Psycho Travels for my first ayahuasca ceremony. From the start, Orion reached out and was super helpful and clear. Out of other places I connected with, this is the only one that was 💯 aligned and felt seamless and destined. Sylvia showed up right in time to pick me up. The arrival at the beautiful place seamless and showing where we may experience the ceremony. I chose a spot on the side to be immersed in nature. Before my ceremony, I set an intention, watched videos and read some info to be loosely informed. I did not have an expectation. I was open and my focus on surrender. Taita Luis explained everything about what to expect in the experience and to surrender. My experience did include release and an indescribable spiritual experience that is priceless. I am processing and integrating and will forever remember it. All throughout the ceremony, Luis, Sylvia and Andres or Alejandro would come and ask how I was or care for me how I needed. The juice after Guyaba and vegetable soup was so good. I loved the closing ceremony too - the clearing and release. So precious. Highly recommend
I could not have asked for anymore from this Ayahuasca retreat. I traveled all the way from Ireland and it was worth every penny and second. From being picked up from my accommodation by the lovely May to Cecilia, who even tucked me into bed on the first night 😂 to Orion who explained everything in detail and was quick to answer every question I had, we also had a lovely chat about everything before I was dropped back to my accommodation after the two days, then to the shaman Gerardo, who you can truly put your trust in and feel his positive energy as well as knowing that he cares and then lastly to all the rest of the staff that created such a calming and positive atmosphere on the retreat. The location was perfect, you could feel the energy and it felt special. I know there is Ayahuasca retreats around the world that are held in yoga studios and someone's house etc. After this retreat I would be highly advising people not to do them there. This is the location where you'll feel most connected and can truly find yourself.
I attended both a private Ayahuasca and psilocybin journey, both of which were my first times. The team here, beginning with Orion coordinating logistics, May driving to the space, Zeus and Sky as support dogs, and Jhon as shaman and Marilyn as support, facilitated a beautiful, safe, and empathetic journey of healing. Granted, there are language barriers if you only speak English but both days were filled with hope and understanding. They are very fairly priced (especially if you book with them directly as opposed to through Retreat Guru) and are responsive both before your physical journey there and the days after. Should I return to Medellin again, I will gladly make another stop.
This place and experience was amazing, appropriately authentic, well organized and made it easy to participate! I felt really safe throughout the session, the atmosphere was great and everyone was really friendly and helpful. The shaman and his wife are true therapy professionals. The experience was really beautiful and I felt like they really wanted to help. I left the experience with a really warm and heartfelt feeling and I got a lot of new tools to work on my thoughts ❤️
This was a one of a kind experience. Trust me, I would tell you if it was bad. The Shaman and his helpers are amazing. I attended a session.. I was scared at first.. I thought it is not safe, I had all kinds of bad thoughts but at the end everything turned out positive. If you need any care or help during the ceremony these people will make sure you're safe and well taken care of. I recommend them to anyone who is interested in an ayahuasca session.
