This isn't an Irish pub, it's a beautiful courtyard with some nik naks from Ireland (or made to look as they're from Ireland). The food was good, well presented and tasty but overpriced! Service was great with one of the waitresses but then it all went wrong when they asked if they could add a tip to the bill, first time to hear that in Colombia!! It's a novelty pub in a lovely location but I won't be rushing back!
Three of my friends and I visited El Irish Pub last week and had an amazing experience. This watering hole had everything you want in a pub, a great setup, creamy pints, delicious food (fish & chips was our favorite), a massive TV where we were able to watch the NFL games, darts, and a sweet beer garden. There was also a ping-pong table. Overall, you would think you were in a pub in Soho on Carnaby Street. Definitely recommend.
We had such a great time at El Irish Pub Candelaria! After a long day exploring La Candelaria, this pub was the perfect place to unwind with a cold beer and some tasty pub food. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a mix of locals and travelers — exactly the kind of cozy, fun vibe you hope to find in an Irish pub abroad. The service was friendly, the drinks were refreshing, and the food hit the spot after hours of walking. It’s also perfectly located in the heart of La Candelaria, making it an easy and enjoyable stop during a day of sightseeing. We loved our time here and would definitely go back for another pint and a good meal. Highly recommended for a relaxed break between exploring Bogotá’s historic streets!
