Very delicious food. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend the steak. Our waitress, Alejandra, was the best. Great overall experience!
Alejandra served us and she was super pleasant and friendly from start to finish. She was attentive and responsive despite the language barrier. We had a Salmon meal and a shrimp fried Rice with Lychee Martini. The meals and the drinks were delicious. We will definitely return
The food was amazing, the service incredible. You can taste a mixture of Peruvian cuisine with Colombia, a perfect combo. Prices are reasonable also. Definitely coming back therre the next time in Provenza. We asked if the chef was Peruvian, and yes he is.
Had an amazing meal at Gato. We were wandering around the area debating where to eat and decided on Gato after looking over the menu - such a great choice. I ordered the Arroz Brutal (salmon with coriander rice and shrimp sauce). The portion was massive and absolutely delicious - easily one of the best meals I’ve had. My partner had the steak with mash and asparagus, which was also incredible. The staff were attentive and genuinely lovely. Two meals and four beers came to £40 including tax, and we added gratuity/service on top. For the price, the quality was outstanding. Would definitely come back.
Alejandra was truly the highlight of our entire experience, and I cannot say enough good things about her. From the very beginning, she was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. You can immediately tell when someone loves what they do, and Alejandra absolutely does. She went above and beyond in every possible way. Her communication was excellent, her attention to detail was outstanding, and she handled everything with patience, confidence, and kindness. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional — she made us feel welcomed, valued, and taken care of the entire time. What really stood out is how proactive and thoughtful she was. She anticipated needs before we even had to ask, explained things clearly, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. That level of service is rare, and it made a huge difference for us. Alejandra represents the best of what great service should be. She is the kind of person who elevates the entire business just by being there. If you’re smart, you will absolutely keep her on your team because employees like her are hard to find and impossible to replace. If we return, it will be largely because of Alejandra. She is a true asset, and management should recognize how lucky they are to have her. Give her the credit, appreciation, and support she deserves — she earned it. Highly, highly recommended.
