Great food, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere
We arrived early so dinner service was just getting started. The mango cocktail was delicious. I also ordered the mushroom & blue cheese tacos for appetizers which were good. I originally ordered the spinach ravioli for my main entree but they didn't have any, so I chose an alternative when it arrived, it had pork and we had specifically said no pork/ no jamon. Something got lost in translation. I told them we couldn't eat it & they said we still had to pay for it because the chef already made it. I told them it was not a problem, however, I emphasized that we were clear to the waiter- no jamon. My husband ordered steak, which was overdone & dry. I think they realized they should do some service recovery as they said they wouldn't charge us for our drinks. Moral of the story...bring a translator to be on the safe side.
The menu had some unique selections that we wanted to try so we came here. We ordered a variety of food between the 2 of us. My only issue was the food was salty but the concepts were good. We opted to sit inside (has AC)because it was hot but the vibe inside was a lot different than the outside. In all truth we should have sat outside. It was more lively as it's on a main street and they play music. Indoors is good if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere with a date or group where it's easy to talk amongst yourselves. The service was good, nothing over the top but definitely appropriate. I would eat here again in hopes that the food won't be as salty next time. Thank you for the experience.
