Ambience is very good and the 3 level restaurant seems packed! We ordered an eggplant parmesan, mushroom pasta, wine, pistachio tiramisu, and cappuccino. The pasta tasted very rubbery, like it hadn’t been cooked fully. Eggplant parm was very tasty. Wine didn’t come before the food, it came almost when we were about to finish. The service is very slow, our cappuccino which was supposed to come with the dessert, didn’t come only so we had to ask for the check and leave.
Storia D Amore was everything we needed on our trip and more. The food in this place is absolutely AMAZING. And so are the cocktails! Wow the service is even better. Top tier. I can’t recall our bartenders name but she was amazing and very attentive. We went back 3 times on our 4 day trip to Bogota, that should explain how great it was. I had the chef special and it was truly mouth watering. I have lots of pictures. Don’t go to Bogota without trying this restaurant.
Diego gave my wife and I exceptional service. Particularly his awareness on recognizing the flavor I was demanding with one dish and him recommending another dish that was suitable to my taste (I enjoy my pesto bold in flavor and they carry it light here). As a previous server myself, I enjoy when I see that level of awareness and care to the customer. Excellent job, the Gamberi Alla Vodka and the Tartufo E Funghi are highly recommended. Enjoy!
Every time I come here, I feel at home. But today especially, I want to congratulate William for his EXCELLENT service. Truly, thank you for having such an incredible person on your team. He made my afternoon a very memorable one. 👏✨
The restaurant has a lovely decoration and ambience; however we had a bad experience, starting with the seats that are bench they are outdated in the foam. We requested to be changed, it took a while for the host to move us to the third floor. They didn't have enough servers, when finally ordered the food came cold, pasta with seafood ...the drinks not the same standard as downstairs and tables with no napkins or utensils. The time of the check came and it took q5 minutes for the floor manager to do it! It had to be requested 3 times. In short they made us lose 3hrs ruining our tourism the last day in Bogota. Will never recommend, the only thing was " que pena" what a shame as if that fixed anything. Later they called offering a dinner!!! Yes knowing we wouldn't accept or go back. I texted and said! Refund for your nasty food and bad service! Off course NO REPLY!!
