Atolón Beach Club is hands down our favorite beach club in Cartagena! Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach day or planning a special event, this place is absolutely incredible. The beach is beautiful, spacious, and has plenty of natural shade, making it comfortable all day long. The pool is gorgeous, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the entrance into the ocean is one of the best we've found in Cartagena—calm, sandy, and so easy to enjoy. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome the entire day. What truly sets Atolón apart is how well they accommodate large groups. We hosted about 70 family members and friends here to kick off our wedding weekend, and everything was flawlessly organized. Whether you're visiting with a few friends or organizing a large celebration, Atolón Beach Club is the perfect choice. We couldn't have imagined a better place to start our wedding weekend, and we'll absolutely be back every time we're in Cartagena.
This place is absolutely stunning, the pictures don't make justice. The view with the palm trees is unbeatable and has a nice music tempo vibe, different in the morning than in the afternoon. We tried different things from the menu and I recommend the fried fish more than any other stuff I tried, needs a little more work on the salads. Recommend also to make a reservation in advance. This is only a day pass review.
This is not the place to visit if you’re looking for white sand beaches and crystal-clear water. We booked the VIP Pass, and the boat transfer to the beach club was a great experience. The facilities appear new, modern, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Drinks took a very long time to arrive, and there seemed to be a lack of coordination among the staff. For example, we were given three different departure times during the day. The sea floor is covered with large rocks, making access to the water difficult. There is only a small entry point that can be used safely, but it is not clearly marked. We only found out about it thanks to local visitors. Since the water is quite dark, it is difficult to see the rocks beneath the surface, which can be hazardous. On a positive note, lunch was very good, and the restrooms were clean, modern, and well maintained.
Probably the best part of my travels to Colombia and finding the perfect spot on the island. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing. The building is beautiful and well constructed and certainly fits the vibe and the island life style. The food is very good and a variety too choose from the bar area is absolutely stunning and probably the most beautiful is the view from interior overlooking the beach and stunning sunsets. The staff are very tentative and friendly. Overall a great experience and certainly worth a visit if you’re only there for the day. We stayed in one of the cabanas and totally blew away the expectations on what you get. Absolutely out of this world. The details and the design was fabulous. The room was huge and extremely comfortable with everything you could want for. Worth every penny that I paid for the entire experience. Knowing that the hotel is nearly complete but even that you don’t notice. Would certainly like to return one day…
Really nice beach club with a very reasonable package. The VIP package came with to and from transportation via boat, as well as lunch with a dessert and a welcome cocktail. The facilities are really nice. There are lots of beds to choose from with ample shade. Very beautiful the music is nice, but it’s not too loud. The bathrooms are very nice and everything in the facilities was clean. Tried the margarita and the aperol spritz and they were both great. A reasonable 20 minute boat ride from the port, definitely like this better than the Bora Bora Beach resort. Server was attentive and kind. We did five drinks, one water and one appetizer outside of our VIP pass and it was about $90. I would definitely come back.
