One of the best restaurants we visited in Provenza. The food was excellent, and every dish we tried was full of flavor. The highlight of our meal was definitely the guacamole with chicken—it was absolutely delicious and something we’d highly recommend ordering. The service was quick and attentive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the overall dining experience even better. If you’re looking for a great restaurant in Provenza with delicious food and excellent service, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Amazing meal overall! The drinks were unique and fantastic! The CHIRIBIQUETE was a delicious mango drink with a nice amount of gin. The PALETICA JUÁREZ is almost like a spicy margarita but with a green mango popsicle in it! We started with maduros with chicharrón which were fresh tasting and flavorful. The solomito calavera tasted amazing and it’s fun to watch them set it on fire tableside - if you like medium rare, order medium as other reviews have said. It was cooked perfectly. The dessert was my favorite part of the meal - volcan de arequipe - cake with dulce de leche inside that exploded when you cut into it served with vanilla ice cream, wafer and a piece of chocolate. I wanted to order a 2nd one it was so good! The atmosphere is so loud and fun, it made dinner a wonderful experience. Highly recommend going here, and make sure to order volcan de arequipe!
We visited Belisario on a trip to Medellin after receiving great recommendations. Let's just say nobody lied. The server was gracious and patient though they do not speak English and was knowledgeable about the meals and drinks. The meal came quickly; we ordered New York Steak which is served with cheesy baby potatoes and garden salad along with Shrimp Alfredo. We also got the Lychee soda and Strawberrry juice and a bottle of water which totaled 345,000 COP. Everything was delectable!!! The atmosphere is great in Provenza which compliments the restaurant's own ambiance. Big note: My daughter forgot her jacket when we left the restaurant and Alvaro who took our check came looking and brought it to us while awaiting our Uber's arrival. We are beyond grateful. In a bustling street packed with options, Belisario stands out with its amazing grilled meats and top notch service. The picaña was incredible so tender and flavorful, we had to order a second one! We had a fantastic time people watching while enjoying every bite. Highly recommend!
