Bali al Parque – Bucaramanga I went to Bali al Parque last weekend. The place has a beautiful tropical decoration and a very relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a fusion sushi roll and it was really delicious. The food is fresh and has a great mix of Asian and Colombian flavors. The waiters were kind and fast, and the price was fair for the quality. I really liked it and I recommend it if you want to eat something different and tasty in Bucaramanga.
They say with certain cuisines, like Mexican or South Asian, if you're not smeared all over the face and hands by the time you're done eating, you didn't experience the real thing. I had a burger in this place that embodies that principle to a tee; the six ounce patty took a back seat to the four jalapeño poppers and the six ounces of pulled pork that really gave the sandwich its signature scrumptiousness, but it was the sauce that smothered the pork that so impressed me that I had to take some home with me (in my beard, my hair, up my nostrils and still making the joints of my fingers sticky to this day) because the chef has managed to have it be fully a barbecue sauce with all its trappings, and yet used passionfruit as its main ingredient. The rest of the party with me was also very satisfied with their choices, which were all over the menu. All seating is garden and patio, with lots lf shade, very comfy. Go if you have the chance.
