DescriptionYou will start early in the morning when your driver picks you up at your hotel in Bogotá to drive to the airport to start the adventure on a plane to Armenia. You will be welcomed at Armenia's airport by your driver to take you to Cocora Valley. You will tour the amazing Cocora Valley, inside the Nevados National Park. You will have a couple of hours here to choose from remaining in the car while your driver takes you all through the valley to watch the palm trees, creeks and the fog forest or you can choose many other activities (own expense). As soon as you finish your activities, you will be taken to Reserva El Cairo, a coffee farm with more than a 100 years of history and a natural and quiet environment to stay through the night. Start the day with a tasty Colombian breakfast. You will then be taken to Salento, a charming small town in Quindío. Here you will have the chance to get to know the town at your own pace, so you have 3 hours to walk the cheerful and colorful streets filled with handicrafts, restaurants, colonial houses and antiquaries. You will then walk to the Alto de la Cruz where you will surely be surprised by the stunning green valleys of the coffee landscape. When you walk down, you will have time to take lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and continue with a tour at El Ocaso coffee farm. Here you will learn all about the coffee process: from planting to the cup. Finally, you will return to Salento to stay at Posada del Café. After a delicious breakfast the next day, your driver will pick you up to drive you to Pereira´s bus terminal to take the beautiful Coffee Route to Medellín. As soon as you arrive, your driver will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in the city of eternal spring.
