This museum was opened in 2000, but it was renamed from 2006 as the Water Museum. Water as an element associated with the planet's evolution, the origin of life and a key regulator of ecosystems; it is the star of this space that blends science, art and technology. During the tour there is a trip through the origin of water, the physical, chemical and biological properties, the 7 Colombian biomes or ecosystems, the relationship between civilizations and water, the water and energy infrastructure, the problem of pollution of our sources and the hydric footprint. The Museum is constituted in three major themes: 'Gaia-el planeta vivo', (Gaia, the life planet), 'Agua y Civilizaciones' (Water and Civilizations), and 'Usos y escenarios del futuro' (Future Uses and Sceneries).
The visit to this park can be made throughout a city tour combined with a visit to the 'Pies Descalzos Park' (Bare feet Park).
