Amazon Jungle Expedition – 3-Day Tailor-Made Adventure
Join us on a unique Amazon experience, crafted for curious travelers seeking both adventure and connection with nature and culture. This journey blends forest treks and river navigation, allowing you to discover different ecosystems and observe wildlife every day.
Our goal is to offer you an authentic, magical experience—where you’ll explore Amazonian flora and fauna alongside local indigenous communities, in a respectful, sustainable way. You'll return with unforgettable memories and a deeper understanding of the rainforest’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.
Day 1 – Into the Jungle
Pick-up from your hotel or Leticia airport (8 a.m.–1 p.m.).
Visit the town with your guide: the market, the central square, and a snack stop.
Board a boat and sail upstream the Amazon River (approx. 2 hours) to Puerto Nariño.
Walk across the village to the Fungi campsite, settle in, organize gear and supplies (approx. 2 hours).
Afternoon forest trek (3 hours) through a private reserve: interpret nature, track wildlife, with a bilingual guide (EN/FR/ES).
Arrive at your private forest cabin, enjoy a traditional Amazonian dinner.
Evening: night walk with a local expert (approx. 1 hour). Observe tarantulas, frogs, glow-in-the-dark mushrooms, and more.
Overnight in a rustic jungle cabin with private rooms, shower, kitchen, candlelight, and solar lamps. The guide does not stay overnight.
Day 2 – River & Wildlife Exploration
Breakfast at 8 a.m.: bread, ham, eggs, tuna, cake, juice.
Morning jungle trek (2 hours) with a local Spanish-speaking guide.
Return to base: shower, laundry, and relax.
Lunch: choose from fish, chicken, vegetarian, or omelets.
From 2 p.m., depart by boat to spot pink dolphins, Tucuxi, eagles, kingfishers, and other river species.
Arrive at a lakeside village (4 p.m.), check into your next cabin, explore the area on foot.
At 5 p.m., canoe trip with a local guide: sunset on the lake, caimans, stargazing until 7 p.m.
Amazonian dinner and overnight in a lakeside cabin. The guide does not join meals or stay overnight.
Day 3 – Cross-Border Nature Reserve
8 a.m. breakfast, then canoe across the Amazon to a Peruvian reserve with a native guide and translator.
Observe sloths, monkeys, tropical birds, and possibly capybaras or iguanas.
Return for lunch and prepare for departure.
Afternoon boat ride back to Leticia.
Arrival at 5 p.m. with transfer to your hotel or the airport.
