Bogota Chocolate Workshop

Bogotá, Colombia

Are you a cocoa lover? Then you can't miss this Bogota chocolate workshop, where you'll learn how to make your own chocolates and taste other sweet local products.

Bogota Chocolate Workshop

Colombian cocoa is considered one of the best in the world, making this food experience in Bogotá essential for chocolate lovers.

We will meet at 4 pm at The Cranky Croc Hostel, and walk to a central location for the chocolate workshop. Participants will taste chocolates from five regions of Colombia, featuring different cocoa percentages from pure dark chocolate to softer milk blends.

The workshop covers all stages of the chocolate-making process and discusses which tropical fruits complement each cocoa type. After the tasting, participants will select their preferred chocolates and learn to create different confections. Each participant will take home a box with three chocolates they made.

The experience concludes with a choice of a typical Colombian cake, such as almojábana, carimañola, pandebono, puff pastry, empanadas, or mantecada, or an arepa in one of three varieties: boyacense, santandereana, or classic with corn, aniseed, and cheese.

The workshop ends at 5:30 pm at the same location. If desired, we can accompany you to the meeting point.
