Description

Our activity will start at 4:30 pm at Castillogrande Beach, located behind the Bocagrande Hospital. There, you will see an orange flag marking the meeting point. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the guides, who will give you a brief introduction about the route, safety measures and the use of the equipment. After adjusting your life jacket and receiving your kayak, you will be ready to begin this exciting adventure. The first part of the tour will take you paddling parallel to the coast of Castillogrande, where the calm atmosphere and views of the city will begin to immerse you in the magic of Cartagena. As you progress, you will observe how the sun begins to descend, tinting the sky with golden and orange tones, while the waves of the Caribbean gently accompany you. This stretch is perfect to enjoy the calm of the sea and the freshness of the sea breeze that characterizes this area of the city. Little by little you will approach the Naval Club, an iconic point that will allow you to have a unique perspective of the union between the modernity of Cartagena and the nature that surrounds it. From here, the views towards Tierra Bomba Island become more remarkable, creating a spectacular combination between the silhouette of the island, the sea and the horizon where the sun is setting. This moment is especially striking, as the light of the sunset begins to reflect on the water, making the entire landscape take on an almost unreal hue. While enjoying this incredible natural spectacle, you will begin the return trip to Castillogrande Beach, paddling back across the bay. Finally, you will return to the starting point around 06:00 pm, concluding an unforgettable experience that will allow you to see Cartagena from a unique perspective and in direct contact with the sea. * Paddling level: Basic * Approximate paddling distance: 3 kilometers. * Approximate paddling time: 1 hour. * Approximate time of activity: 1 to 1.5 hours.
