Description

Starting in Salento Quindío in a jeep willys from the Cocoratours office on Calle #2-09, at the end of Calle Real in front of the Mahalo hotel, or your hotel if it's in the urban area of Salento Quindío, to the Cocora Valley where this activity will begin: It's important to mention that we usually start with a walk to the Palmas de Cera viewpoint, we'll have the chance to take photos in the structures created in this area, such as the Cocora sign, the flag, the condor's nest, the puma, the hand, among others. At the Mirador de las Palmas, we'll have a walk of 2 to 3 hours, depending on what each of our visitors likes. After Cocora, we'll head back to Salento. There, we'll enjoy a traditional local dish at a typical restaurant, or another option like rice, salad, giant patacón, or hogao with lemonade. If you don't like fish, you can substitute it with beef, chicken, or pork (the dish may vary depending on the meat). We also have special vegetarian options. Just so you know, it could be a restaurant in Salento or near the farm where we'll have the coffee experience. In the second part of the tour, we'll head to the coffee farm, where we'll pass through different farms and landscapes in the area. There, we'll take a premium coffee tour of approximately 2 to 3 hours, where you'll fully learn the coffee process from sowing, caring for, and harvesting to the collection of the different types of coffee, all this with the peasant costume 'collecting basket, poncho, hat' and a snack in the middle of the traditional peasant tour. Finally, we'll return from this great adventure to Salento Quindío.
