Description

Our adventure begins in the main square of Salento and we leave by Jeep Willy at 1,900 meters above sea level. We travel 26 km through mountainous landscapes with educational stops about flora and fauna, where we can photograph the Nevado del Tolima and the Paramillo del Quindio. We cross the Cordillera Central at 3,340 meters above sea level, sighting species such as the spectacled bear. In the Wax Palm Sanctuary, we learn about its conservation. We have lunch at a peasant farm and return by Jeep or walk 10 km along the National Road to Salento, exploring biodiversity, myths and local culture.
