Description

Embark on a rewarding journey 'Into the Wild,' where you’ll play an essential role. Begin your adventure with a traditional breakfast by the lake, followed by an engaging educational talk from biologists about the rehabilitation and release of rescued parrots and macaws. You’ll prepare and deliver the food to these birds, connecting deeply with their care. Next, saddle up for an exciting 15-kilometer horseback ride through vibrant trails surrounded by mountains. Enjoy stunning panoramic views, spot three monkey species, including the endemic Cotton-top Tamarin, and encounter exotic birds, parrots, and iconic macaws. Visit local cassava, yam, and maize crops while meeting the farmers who cultivate the land. Afterward, enjoy a local snack before embarking on an exhilarating 4x4 tour of the estate. Keep your eyes open for wildlife as you explore the reserve’s hidden gems. For your safety, all vehicles are driven by trained guides, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in this unforgettable adventure. All activities take place under the supervision of our trained foundation staff, as this is a rehabilitation center, not a zoo.
