Zipaquirá Cathedral of Salt + Lunch at Andrés Carne de Res

On this tour from Bogotá, we will visit the Zipaguirá Cathedral of Salt and then head to Chía for a meal at the Andrés Carne de Res restaurant.

We will collect you from your hotel in Bogotá and travel north to the Zipaquirá Cathedral of Salt, a prominent site in Colombia.

The guided tour of this unique church, located 180 meters deep within a salt mine, will last approximately 2 hours. Highlights include an altar carved from salt and sculptures representing the Stations of the Cross, depicting the crucifixion of Jesus.

After the cathedral visit, you will have 40 minutes of free time to shop in the area outside the cathedral. Following this, we will travel to Chía to dine at the Andrés Carne de Res restaurant.

A table reserved will await you, and you can enjoy a lunch at your own expense while experiencing a live music show featuring merengue, salsa, and bachata.

After lunch, we will return to Bogotá, with an expected total duration of around 10 hours.
