Banzai Cocktail Bar is a chilled out surf/dance bar and sushi restaurant, opened in 2010 by a husband and wife team. With a stunning San Andres location under the Sunrise Beach Hotel and overlooking the Caribbean surf, Banzai is a relaxed setting among local faces. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail, a cold beer, or even a light snack at Banzai - accompanied by surfers, divers and kite boarders.
The bar is an incredibly welcoming place, with everyone invited to the party. Walls are adorned with photographs and artwork including the indigenous Banzai face. It's not a big area and can get crowded and sweaty, but that's all part of the surf bar experience!
If you're after a great atmosphere, Banzai is the place, combining beach culture and fabulous music. Open until 3am at the weekend, co-owner Tiki is always ready with a smile to welcome you to his favourite part of San Andres island.
