We had an amazing meal at Quebracho, but the real standout was our server, Camacho. He completely blew us away from start to finish, delivering the kind of world-class service that's rare to find. He paced our evening flawlessly, anticipated every need, and made sure our local cuts were dialed in perfectly. The food's incredible (especially the national bife de chorizo and the slow-cooked lechón), but Camacho's top-tier hospitality is what made it the absolute highlight of our time in Cartagena. You've got to ask for his section!
Heard about this place on a podcast on Spotify… the gentleman who greeted me and was then my waiter was such a professional kind gentleman. The sauce for the bread was exquisite… and then the steak arrived… amazing and worth the price and experience… most excellent! And the house wine holds its own as well!
Quebracho Argentinian Steakhouse is consistently outstanding every time we visit. The old-world steakhouse atmosphere, live music, and warm ambiance make it a special experience. Service is professional, polished, and truly attentive — Camacho is an amazing waiter who anticipates every need. The steaks are perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, and the tres leches dessert is the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Excellent wine selection, steak, and the best octopus. The service was outstanding — you truly get your money’s worth. The best desserts we had were the volcán con dulce de leche and pie de coco. This place exceeded our expectations compared to all the restaurants we visited each night.
Great service overall. We walked in around 8 p.m. on a Sunday and were seated immediately. The band was playing, and the aroma of steak grilling in the back really set the mood. The drink menu was short and to the point, though wine is only available by the bottle, not by the glass. Service was excellent for most of the evening, but toward the end we waited longer than expected to get the check and head out. Aside from that, it was a great experience.
