Description
Experience the true essence of rumba in Cali. If you're coming to the World Capital of Salsa, this is the tour you need to understand why this rhythm is our identity. Join an expert local guide on a 5-hour tour designed to let you experience the evolution of Cali's dance scene, from the purest salsa brava to the most modern crossover sounds.
Our evening begins at 9:00 PM at our meeting point, Malamaña Carrera 4 # 9-59, on the vibrant Bulevar del Río. We'll enjoy the breeze with some local beers as we walk to the iconic Calle de la Salsa, the cultural epicenter and the most photographed spot for fans of the genre.
Next, we'll head to MalaMaña, a temple of salsa brava with an authentic, underground vibe. Here, you'll see how the beat of the bell and the bongo is experienced in the heart of the city; it's the perfect place to see the locals in their true salsa element.
The energy levels up as we board the Chiva Rumbera, our traditional bus adorned with lights, where we will enjoy an open bar of local spirits as we tour the city to the beat of reggaeton.
The grand finale will be at Club 10.60, a venue offering the city's best mix of urban rhythms and modern salsa. The tour ends at 2:00 am, dropping you off at the height of the party so you can keep dancing or head home to rest.
