Get ready for an unforgettable experience among the mountains and the world's tallest wax palms.
Our tour starts at 8:00 a.m. from Salento, Quindío, where we will board a 4×4 vehicle that will take us up to 3,400 meters above sea level, the highest point of our journey.
From there, we will embark on a thrilling 12-kilometer downhill bike ride to reach the majestic Wax Palm Forest. During the tour, we will make several stops so you can capture incredible photos and videos and appreciate the vastness of the landscape. Our expert local guides will share fascinating facts with you about the history, culture, and biodiversity of the region.
Your adventure continues at a traditional farm, where a delicious local snack awaits you to help you recharge your batteries. There, you will also have the opportunity to visit an impressive waterfall, which is perfect for cooling off and, if you wish, taking a dip in its crystal-clear waters.
Afterward, we will once again ascend in our 4×4 vehicle to an elevation of 3,400 meters above sea level, where the second part of the adventure awaits: a spectacular 22-kilometer downhill bike ride, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, fresh air, and the freedom of the mountains, until we return to Salento. An experience that will thrill you right down to the last pedal stroke. ♂️
