Description
The tour starts at 7:00 AM in the tourist areas of Bocagrande, Castillogrande, and Laguito, with a meeting point at 8:00 AM at Juan Valdez Café in Cartagena’s historic center. From there, transportation takes you to the National Aviary.
At the aviary, you will observe a variety of Colombian birds in their natural habitat and receive explanations from a bilingual guide about the species and the importance of conservation of their environments.
After the birdwatching experience, the minibus continues to Playa Blanca on Baru Island, where you can enjoy the white sand beaches and clear waters. An optional Caribbean lunch is available for $3 USD. The tour returns to Cartagena between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, dropping off participants at the starting point.

- Hotel pickup available from Bocagrande, Laguito, Castillogrande, Marbella, and Cabrero areas
- Pickup time will be confirmed via WhatsApp or phone, typically between 7:00 AM and 7:40 AM
- If staying outside these areas, meet at Juan Valdez Café in the historic center of Cartagena by 7:50 AM to 8:20 AM
- Meeting point is located after the monument and fountain of the convention center, directly in front of the GHL hotel
