Book your round-trip transportation in advance and travel comfortably in an air-conditioned bus from Cartagena to Playa Blanca on Baru Island. Pickup is at the corner of the Juan Valdez coffee shop in the convention center early in the morning. During the trip, enjoy panoramic views of the city and sea.
Upon arrival in Baru, take a boat to Rosario Islands where you can snorkel or visit the aquarium (entrance ticket extra). Return to Baru and spend your day at leisure. Unlike all-inclusive tours, you choose your food and activities, such as jet skis, banana boats, kayaking, or massages.
Meet your driver at the same drop-off point at 3:00 p.m. for your return trip to Cartagena's walled city.
