Description
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Pereira. Head to Finca Recuca, where you’ll take part in the popular Coffee Culture Tour.
Upon arrival, transform into an authentic muleteer or “chapolera” by dressing in traditional clothing. Take a half-hour walk along the Coffee Trail, surrounded by lush plantations. Learn about coffee cultivation and admire the stunning landscape.
Next, take on the role of a coffee grower. Participate in a simulation of coffee picking, complete with a mock payment for your harvest using a note from the picker’s bank.
Continue your immersion by experiencing the post-harvest process. Visit the ‘grandparents’ mill’ and the ‘organic mill’ to see how the grain is processed.
