This is a cultural walking tour through Bogotá's city center and its non-touristy corners. As we walk, your guide will share the history, stories and everyday life of the capital, and take you past the local spots where Bogotanos actually eat, so you can discover the background of our gastronomic legacy from the times when the Colombian territory was inhabited by our indigenous ancestors.
Along the route you will pass local food spots where you can optionally choose to taste typical dishes such as ajiaco, patty, wafers or origin coffee, among others. Tasting food is completely optional and not required to enjoy the tour: if you decide to try something, you pay directly for what you choose (typically around 9–10 USD), and vegetarian options are available.

- Umbrellas or capes. Please bring your favorite rainproof coat or umbrella, we can't control the weather yet
- Water or your preferred form of hydration. This is a walking tour, and you may feel thirsty
- Comfortable shoes. You'll walk about 7 km while also making some stops to listen to the guide
- Comfortable clothes. No pressure to look amazing, feel free to wear what makes you feel better
- Keep your friends close, and your belongings even closer. We'll visit some crowded areas, so don't give papaya
