Description
Discover the world of Fernando Botero and experience the Botero Museum in a different way. Beyond his famous 'chubby figures,' we will explore the stories, emotions, and hidden meanings behind the works of one of Latin America's most celebrated artists.
Together, we will walk through the galleries dedicated to Botero and one of Colombia's most important art collections, the result of an extraordinary donation featuring 123 works by the artist and 85 pieces from his private collection. Through these works, we will uncover some of the influences that helped shape his artistic vision and gain a deeper understanding of the journey that led him to become the artist we know today.
The Botero Museum is open to all visitors free of charge, but many of the stories and details hidden within its galleries often go unnoticed. This tour is designed to help you uncover those secrets and invites you to go beyond the obvious and appreciate Botero's work and artistic legacy in depth, in a clear, engaging, and entertaining way, without requiring any prior art knowledge.
