Comuna 13, and then we'll delve into the heart of the neighborhood, away from the tourist traps, to offer you an authentic and meaningful experience!
We'll start with a quick look at Comuna 13 (where everyone goes) and then head into the locals' area, enjoying the spectacular scenery and the sunset while savoring 10 to 15 flavors (fruits, drinks, fast food). We'll also visit the best vantage point at the highest part of the comuna to see the sunset and the city's night lights. We'll continue with an evening walk, during which we'll hear stories about the area and thus gain a deeper appreciation of how life changed after the darkest of times. We'll end with a visit to someone who will share their story with us.
My name is Onofre, and you'll recognize me by my gray vest, my shoulder-length hair, and my height of 180 cm.
We'll meet inside the meeting point (Calle 45 # 98 - 25), where we'll enjoy tropical fruits. You'll also receive a bottle of water to keep hydrated.
We'll then take transportation to the tourist area, where we'll use the only escalators in a working-class neighborhood in Colombia.
We'll see dance shows, visit a souvenir shop and an art gallery, and during the tour, we'll enjoy a tasting of local and exotic flavors.
We'll continue to enjoy the tour by toasting with a drink and taking transportation to the top to admire the sunset and the city's night lights.
Finally, we'll take an evening tour through a neighborhood without tourists, where we'll visit a local person (subject to availability).
