Description
At Monte & Panela, you are welcomed directly by the family running this 100-year-old finca in the Andes. This private farm hosts only small groups to ensure a warm, personalized visit.
Your experience begins with a hotel pickup and a transfer into nature. You will be greeted with mountain views, fresh Colombian coffee, and a homemade breakfast made with ingredients grown on the farm.
Animal welfare is a priority. Animals live freely and are treated with respect. Guests can feed calves, milk cows, and interact with well-cared-for horses.
The horseback ride explores the finca's private 200-acre property, avoiding public roads and pavement. The peaceful route is safe for riders and horses alike. A picnic break at the top includes feeding the horses carrots, relaxing in a hammock, and enjoying a fresh fruit bowl.
Juan José, the third-generation caretaker, personally guides the experience while sharing family stories and traditions connected to the land.
