Description
Begin your adventure by ascending to Alto de La Viga, the highest point in Bogotá, standing at approximately 3,650 meters. This mountain, higher than Monserrate and Guadalupe, offers a genuine natural experience just a short distance from the city. Hike along one of the natural trails in the eastern hills, in the El Verjón area. As you walk, watch the landscape transform from mountain forest to páramo, with its cold air, tall vegetation, and occasional mist that sometimes obscures the view. When the sky clears, enjoy breathtaking views of the savannah below. Travel at a relaxed pace in a small group, with a guide leading the way, sharing insights about the surroundings, and ensuring the trail is left undisturbed. Along the way, stop to enjoy a typical Colombian breakfast, a warm and local treat earned through your climb.Includes
