The tour is led by Jaime, a professional guide and former resident of Comuna 13 who survived the armed conflict. He knows the area very well and will be able to tell you firsthand about what has happened here. Simply the best Comuna 13 tour.
The experience begins with pick-up from your hotel or your preferred location in a luxury van. We will travel to Comuna 13 and begin with a stop at a viewpoint, from which we will observe the entire Comuna and discuss the armed conflict that took place there.
Then we will begin to see the area's transformation by taking the public cable cars (Metrocable) to get a view of the neighborhoods and the entire city.
Having learned about the history and unique characteristics of Comuna 13, we will board the van and drive to the furthest streets to begin a walk full of surprises through the neighborhood's best spots, including street artist performances, art galleries, viewpoints, cafes, and much more. The tour will be tailored to your tastes and interests, as there are plenty of stop options to choose from.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the van to take you back to your hotel or another location of your choice.
