Description

Triple Combo: The Best of Medellín and Guatapé Explore the essence of the Paisa region with an itinerary designed to immerse you in the urban transformation of Medellín and the natural majesty of the Oriente Antioqueño. This two-day tour is the perfect combo of modern history, street art, and postcard landscapes. Day 1: Social Transformation and the Heart of the City The adventure kicks off with an in-depth tour of the landmarks that define Medellín. We'll visit Nutibara Hill, where you'll find Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a traditional village that offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. We'll continue to the historic center, visiting the National Palace and the Parque de los Pies Descalzos, a unique urban relaxation space. The mobility experience is key on this day: we'll hop on the Tram and the Metrocable, systems that have revolutionized the lives of the inhabitants on the hillsides. The main event is Comuna 13. We'll ride its famous escalators and enjoy the Graffiti Tour, where urban art tells stories of resilience and hope. We'll visit neon galleries, craft shops, enjoy cultural shows, and try the iconic local artisanal ice cream. Day 2: The majesty of Guatapé and El Peñol On the second day, we'll move away from the urban hustle and bustle towards the Guatapé reservoir. We'll start with a boat tour of the dam, sailing among green landscapes and the remains of famous estates. We'll visit the Vereda el Chocho, a picturesque spot where you'll find llamas and an interactive farm. We'll arrive at the imposing Piedra del Peñol. You'll have the chance to see this giant monolith (the ascent is optional and is managed directly on site). Then, we'll walk through the Replica of the Old Peñol, the New Peñol, and the Rock Temple. To finish, we'll wander through the colorful streets of Guatapé Central Park, famous for its vibrant tiles adorning the facades of the houses, telling the story and trades of the town.
