Your day begins with pickup from selected hotels in Medellin before traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Along the way, enjoy a traditional Antioquian breakfast with vegetarian and vegan options available before continuing toward Guatape.
El Peñol Rock
Your first stop is the iconic El Peñol Rock. Climb its 709 steps for panoramic views of Guatape Lake, or relax and enjoy the surroundings before continuing your journey. The entrance ticket is optional and can be purchased on site.
Boat Ride & Colorful Guatape
Continue the day with a boat ride across Guatape Lake, where you'll cruise past private islands, waterfront homes, and learn the story of the original town of El Peñol from your guide.
Continue to the colorful town of Guatape, where your guide will introduce you to its history, famous zocalos, and local traditions. Walk through its vibrant streets, discover the stories behind its colorful facades, and enjoy free time to explore, stop for a coffee, or simply experience one of Colombia's most colorful towns.
Traditional Lunch
Later, enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch with vegetarian and vegan options available. Before heading back to Medellin, make one final stop to meet and feed a variety of farm animals.
