Live an unforgettable experience with this full-day tour to Guatapé and Piedra del Peñol from Medellín. The adventure begins with a delicious typical Antioquia breakfast, with two traditional options and a vegetarian alternative.
Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the towns of Marinilla and El Peñol, as well as learn interesting facts about the history of the area from our professional guide.
The next stop is the imposing Piedra del Peñol, a 220-meter-high monolith that offers a spectacular view for those who choose to climb its 740 steps (optional climb, not included – COP 30,000).
You will then embark on a boat ride through the huge Guatapé reservoir, where you can see the lush nature, islands and historical sites, including the ruins of Pablo Escobar's former farm.
The tour continues with a guided tour of the colorful streets of Guatapé, including the village's main sights: Plaza Principal, Calle Duque, Calle del Recuerdo, and the charming Plazoleta de los Zócalos, with its vibrant and artistic facades.
