At 8:40 am, we'll pick you up at Subway in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach to start our adventure to Guatapé! On this day, you'll be accompanied by a professional tour guide who knows every corner of the area, answers all your questions and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, never rushes you! Want to skip a part? No problem, this day is yours!
Along the way, we'll make a stop so you can have breakfast or grab a snack to give you energy for the day!
Next, we'll pass by the village of NUEVO PEÑOL. Here your tour guide will tell you a story that few people know: that of the town that had to reinvent itself from scratch until it reached its famous replica. The RÉPLICA DEL VIEJO PEÑOL is an evocative reproduction of its old central square that will make you understand — and feel — what it means to lose and be reborn!
Next, we'll go down to the pier for a CRUISE TOUR on one of the BEST BOATS ON THE GUATAPÉ RESERVOIR. With the help of our guide, we'll see the impressive properties of famous figures from Colombia and the region while enjoying great music and taking panoramic photos of the surroundings.
Afterwards, one of the most Instagrammable moments of the day arrives: the visit to the town of GUATAPÉ! A town that enchants everyone who visits! With our tour guide, we'll take a guided tour of its most emblematic streets: CALLE DEL RECUERDO, CALLE DE LAS SOMBRILLAS, PLAZOLETA DE LOS ZÓCALOS, PARQUE PRINCIPAL, and its magnificent CHURCH, among others. Each façade is a work of art, and each zócalo tells a story.
At the end, we'll give you time to have lunch, explore on your own, find that perfect souvenir, or simply have a drink on a terrace and let the magic of Guatapé envelop you.
