Experience a sailing trip from Santa Marta to Bahia Concha in Tayrona Park, ideal for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Meet at 10:30 am at Santa Marta International Marina to board the sailboat. Departure is at 11:00 am, heading to Bahia Concha in Tayrona Park or nearby Tayrona Bay. The sail takes approximately 1.5 hours. During the journey, learn about the park's unique features while passing Taganga Bay and Granate Bay. You will sail past Aguja Island, the only island in Tayrona Park, before anchoring close to the beach in Bahia Concha. Guests can choose to swim, walk on the beach, snorkel, or relax on the boat.
The return to Santa Marta begins around 3:45 pm, weather permitting. Participants can help with sailing during the trip back. Arrival at the marina is expected by 5:00 pm.
Note that Tayrona Park is closed from February 1 to 15, June 1 to 15, and October 19 to November 2. During these dates, the sailing routes adjust to Santa Marta’s bays.
