Upon arrival, you'll take the official tour of Lake Guatavita accompanied by the site's licensed guides, who will tell you about the history of the Muisca culture, the famous Legend of El Dorado, and the environmental importance of this high-mountain ecosystem. At the end of the hike, your driver will be waiting for you to continue the tour.
Your next stop will be Gaia
Andina, an outdoor tourist attraction where you'll discover an exhibit of monumental and interactive sculptures made from recycled tires. During the visit, you will be accompanied by your tour guide, who will explain the meaning of each work inspired by the natural and cultural richness of Colombia. You'll find sculptures such as the spectacled bear, the Condor of the Andes, the Andean llamas, and the imposing Pachamama or Mother Earth, considered the largest in Cundinamarca made with this recycled material. In addition to enjoying the art, you'll learn about the message of conservation and sustainability conveyed by each sculpture.
Then you'll visit the famous Casa Loca de Guatavita, a unique building that challenges perception and surprises with its inverted design. The tour will be guided by the site's specialized staff, who will show you each of its spaces while you discover interesting facts and enjoy a different and fun experience.
Finally, you will tour the charming town of Guatavita accompanied by your tour guide. You'll have free time for lunch and will receive recommendations for restaurants where you can taste typical dishes of the region.
