An experience that combines an eco-hike through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Colombian Caribbean with an exciting speedboat ride back to Santa Marta.
This itinerary is ideal for solo travelers, couples, families, and groups of friends who want to connect with nature, discover the biodiversity of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and enjoy the spectacular beaches of Tayrona. During the tour, you'll be able to see different species of plants and wild animals, walk among lush tropical vegetation, and take in stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.
Pick-up and transfer
We'll pick you up at your accommodation in Santa Marta from around 6:45 AM to start our adventure to Tayrona Park. Pick-up from the airport area is subject to consultation and may incur an additional charge.
Upon arrival at the park, you will need to purchase the admission ticket and the corresponding mandatory insurance. Once you've entered, you'll start the hike along a signposted eco-trail, which will allow you to explore some of the area's most iconic beaches at your own pace.
Tour of the beaches
During the hike, you'll be able to discover and enjoy the following places:
- Arrecifes Beach: Stunning natural scenery, surrounded by tropical vegetation and large rock formations.
- Arenilla Beach: A beautiful beach where you can take in the beauty of the natural surroundings.
- La Piscina: a beach known for its relatively calm waters, ideal for enjoying the sea when conditions allow.
- Cabo San Juan del Guía: One of Tayrona National Park's most iconic destinations, famous for its crystal-clear waters, light-colored sandy beaches, and spectacular landscapes.
In Cabo San Juan, you'll have time to enjoy the surroundings, relax, take photos, and soak up the Tayrona experience before starting the drop-off journey.
Speedboat drop-off
To wrap up your adventure, you'll return by speedboat from Cabo San Juan to Santa Marta, enjoying a different perspective of the Caribbean coast.
When you arrive at Cabo San Juan, you must check in with the staff in charge of the boat assigned to you to confirm your return.
