Bogotá Layover Tour

This layover tour in Bogotá includes pickup from the airport and transfer back. You will be greeted with a sign at the exit of your arrival terminal to start this tour of one of the highest capitals in Latin America, located at 2,625 meters (8,612 feet) above sea level.

First, we will stroll around the Plaza de Bolívar, observing the National Capitol, Palace of Justice, and Supreme Court of Justice. We will also see the Liévano Palace and the Primate Cathedral of Colombia, a temple from the early 19th century.

Following this, we will visit the Gold Museum, featuring a major exhibition of pre-Hispanic art with around 6,000 pieces of metal, ceramic, bone, wood, and emeralds.

After the tour, we will return you to El Dorado Airport 5 hours later.

Important Info

On Mondays, the Gold Museum is closed; instead, we will visit the Botero Museum, showcasing works by a renowned Colombian artist.

Layover Times

To enjoy this tour, you must have at least 7 hours available between flights. The round trip between the city center and airport takes about 2 hours, and you need to be at the terminal 2 hours before flight departure, allowing 3 hours to visit the city.
