Description
Colombia is a country with a great pre-Hispanic cultural heritage.
The The material remains bear witness to the
immense diversity of the Colombian territory. They are examples of
adaptations, ways of life, customs, and thoughts.
Ceramics are one of the most important elements of this
archaeological heritage, and looking at them today allows us to
better understand the past that continues to shape
the present and our identities.
On this tour, you will visit the Casa Marqués de San Jorge Archaeological Museum
(MUSA), where you will see firsthand
ceramic pieces from different pre-Columbian cultures,
seeking to understand their meaning, uses, and characteristics. But
since the best way to understand is to do, our
experience continues at the Caja Negra Workshop, where you can
experience the process of making a ceramic piece and giving
shape to the present with the wisdom of the past.
