Description

Embark on an expedition into the heart of the Amazon and live an authentic survival experience guided by Ticuna natives. Walk through lush primary rainforest, discover its fascinating wildlife and medicinal plants, and learn traditional knowledge that connects you with nature. This tour doesn’t follow a strict itinerary — because it’s the jungle, daily activities depend on the weather, river levels, and natural conditions of the season. Every experience is unique, adapting to what the Amazon offers each day. During this 4-day adventure, you’ll hike through the jungle for 2–3 hours each day, observe wildlife and plants, go night fishing or search for glowing mushrooms, and take part in cultural exchanges with Ticuna guides. Each night, you’ll sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets at different jungle camps, fully immersed in the sounds of the forest. On the final day, participate in a handicraft and painting workshop, enjoy a traditional jungle lunch, and, depending on the season, return to Leticia either by boat (January–June, rainy season) or on foot back to the road (July–December, dry season), where private transport will take you safely to Leticia by afternoon.

The tour is guided by Ticuna natives, providing an authentic cultural experience. During the rainy season, the return to Leticia is by boat on the Amazon River. During the dry season, the return is on foot back to the road.
